My very early 1964 pull handle roadster in tartan red, what a beauty.

Loved and cherished by the previous owner. However he was no mechanic so ‘Bonnie’ had suffered at the hands of garages for many years.
Bonnie was running like a pig when I picked her up. But some investigation revealed a botched repair on the rear SU carb. Once rectified she runs really nicely. 175 PSI compression across the board from her original sweet running 3 bearing engine.
Bonnie is currently having her front inner wheel arches wax oiled and a full overhaul of the front brakes and suspension.
Before, virtually no rust to inner arches and wings

After a thorough clean, new stainless splash guards and wax oil

Bonnie too had a steering rack full of grease argh! only this time the garage had also stripped it down and managed to reassemble it incorrectly. Damaging it beyond repair. So after a replacement rack sourced, new gaiters and correctly filled with EP oil its back in. Also correctly aligned this time so that the indicators cancel.
New discs, pads, callipers, hoses, seals, rubbers, back plates, wheel bearings, lower wishbones and spinners. Ouch.

Also a new shock absorber and replacement stub axle and king pin on the off side as there was an oil leak and a bit of play.

New fuel lines fitted to SU carbs E10 safe.
Gauges removed and cleaned
Leather seats cleaned and fed with leather restorer
New halogen headlights, bowls, wiring looms and bezels.
